The Big Green Entrepreneurship Competition awarded $2,000 to Hannah Murnen '06, Nathan Sigworth '07, Deborah Sperling '06 and Augusta Niles '07 on Monday night for designing a training bicycle known as the Gyrobike.
Three Dartmouth economics majors attended the Carroll Round last weekend, a conference on international economics held at Georgetown University.
Professor Edward Bradley of the classics department, who also founded the Rome Foreign Study Program, will retire at the end of this term after 43 years of teaching at the College. "The founding of the Roman FSP, and my close association with it for so many years, has been tantamount to kind of a revolution in my life," Bradley said.
