Senior sports staffers reflect on last four years
Under a strong spring sun, wood chips flew and saw dust swirled about as Dartmouth hosted the 63rd annual Woodsmen's Weekend competition this past weekend. Drawing 27 teams and about 200 competitors, the two-day event featured competitions in various woodsmen's events, including axe throwing, fire building, canoeing, chain throwing, block chopping and crosscut sawing. The two-day event was split between venues.
The Dartmouth women's sailing team had a strong showing this weekend, racing to a third-place finish at the President's Trophy Women's Regatta at Boston University.

The Big Green raced to a fourth-place finish in the Brad Dellenbaugh Women's Trophy regatta, while at the Ferrarone Team Race Intersectional, Dartmouth faced stiff competition and difficult conditions, emerging with a seventh-place finish. Dartmouth sailors also posted a 12th-place finish at the Central Series Three regatta.
