Valentine’s Day is officially upon us. As the one day entirely dedicated to love, the 14th of February is highly anticipated around the world, and Dartmouth’s campus is no exception.

February 14th, more famously known as “Singles Awareness Day.” Two days ago, you were probably frantically searching online for overnight flower delivery or wandering the aisles of CVS for chocolate fancier than Kit Kat bars.






According to Dartmouth financial statements, the College reported a $12 million net operating loss in the 2017 fiscal year, compared to a $112 million loss in the previous year.

Alumnus resigns over College response to ending of DACA

On Jan. 30, Unai Montes-Irueste ’98, former vice president of the Dartmouth Association of Latino Alumni, published an open letter on Facebook declaring that he is cutting all ties with the College over its handling of issues surrounding undocumented students.

Skiing teams win Dartmouth Carnival for first time since 2010

With high spirits, loud crowds and several mops of green and pink hair, the Big Green ski teams won the Dartmouth Carnival for the first time since 2010. For the alpine skiers, the carnival was a return to familiar territory and a chance to make up for a disappointing outing at the skiway last season, when the University of Vermont won the men’s and women’s slalom on the second day en route to a come-from-behind overall win — Dartmouth’s only loss of the season.
