Feb. 25, 3:06 a.m., Bissell Hall: Safety and Security officers investigated a noise complaint in a dorm room. Officers discovered that the occupants had smoked marijuana inside the room and had consumed hard alcohol. A glass pipe with marijuana residue was confiscated and turned over to the Hanover Police Department.

Feb. 17, 10:39 a.m., Dartmouth Outing Club: Safety and Security Officers and Hanover Fire Department responded to a call for assistance for a non-college affiliated person for a possible heart attack. The individual was transported to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center for treatment.

Feb. 20, 1:27 a.m., Collis Common Ground: Safety and Security officers and Dartmouth Emergency Medical Services responded to a report of an intoxicated individual at Collis Late Night. The intoxicated individual wasa non-student from Trinity College. The Hanover Police Department followed up, issued the individual a summons and turned him over to another person for care.

Feb. 13, 12:05 a.m., Webster Avenue: Safety and Security officers and Dartmouth Emergency Medical Services rendered aid to a student found intoxicated to the point of needing medical attention. The individual was transported to Dick’s House and admitted for the night.

Apr. 3, 3:02 p.m., Little Residence Hall:Safety and Security officers responded to a report of a student using pepper spray in the Choates cluster. Safety and Security located the student and confiscated the pepper spray. There were reportedly no injuries.

Nov. 7, 1:05 a.m.: Safety and Security officers, Dartmouth Emergency Medical Services and Hanover Fire Department responded to a Good Samaritan call. The individual, after running from S&S officers, was detained by a group of people and subsequently transferred to the control of Hanover Police. The student was found to be intoxicated and in need of medical attention and was transported to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
Nov. 7, 11:00 p.m., Russell Sage Residence Hall: Safety and Security officers came across a dorm party in Russell Sage. Several individuals climbed out a window and ran off before the officer could collect their names, but the officers identified the resident of the room. The student did not show any signs of intoxication, but did have alcohol in their possession.

Oct. 30, 2:18 p.m., Kemeny Hall: Safety and Security officers and the Hanover Fire Department responded to a cigarette disposal unit that was on fire. The officers extinguished the fire, and Hanover Fire determined that the incident was caused by paper in the cigarette disposal unit.

Oct. 23, 6:27 p.m., Observatory Road: Safety and Security officers, Dartmouth Emergency Medical Services and Hanover Fire Department responded to two students who collided when riding their bicycles. One student escaped with only minor pain in the leg, shoulder and head. The other student sustained a bleeding cut in the head and was transported to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center for further evaluation.
Oct. 23, 10:30 p.m., Stinson’s Village Store: Hanover Police turned a student over to Safety and Security officers for attempting to purchase alcohol from Stinson’s Village Store with a false ID.

Oct. 16, 11:27 p.m.: Safety and Security officers and Dartmouth Emergency Medical Services rendered medical assistance to a student for intoxication. The individual was transported to Dick’s House and admitted for the rest of the night.

Oct. 9, 6:27 p.m., South Street: Safety and Security officers and College Troubleshooters responded to seven apartments for a report of multiple local smoke detectors that had been activated by smoke from burned food. The smoke was evacuated from the residence and the detectors were reset. There was no actual fire.
Oct. 9, 9:09 p.m., The Green: During the Homecoming bonfire, the Hanover Police Department arrested a student for “disorderly conduct” after the individual had entered the inner circle and touched the bonfire.

Oct. 2, 1:45 p.m., Rockefeller Center loading dock: Safety and Security officers responded to a motor vehicle accident. An investigation concluded that a graduate student had backed a classroom technologies car into the central stores truck driven by a Dartmouth employee. No injuries or damages were reported.
Oct. 3, 6:56 a.m., Sigma Phi Epsilon: Safety and Security officers, College troubleshooters and Hanover Fire Department responded to a carbon monoxide alarm. Hanover Fire Department determined that the cause of the alarm was water being sprayed on the device. Sig Ep was ordered to have the alarm looked at by technicians and to keep Hanover Fire Department appraised of the repairs.

September 25, 11:07 p.m., Fahey Residence Hall: Safety and Security officers responded to a report of a noise complaint coming from a room. Marijuana was found, confiscated and handed over to the Hanover Police Department.
September 25, 11:46 p.m., Bissell Residence Hall: Safety and Security officers responded to a report of a room party. Upon arrival, there was evidence of drinking and two desks were pushed together to create a pong table. Two students were transported to and admitted into Dick’s House.

Sept. 18, 3:58 p.m., Connecticut River: Safety and Security officers responded to an anonymous report of students swimming in the river. They identified 25 members of the Class of 2019 swimming in the river and asked them to leave the dock.

May 15, 5:29 a.m., The Choates Cluster: Safety and Security officers responded to a report of an intoxicated student between Cohen and Bissell. The individual was located, evaluated and transported to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center by ambulance.

May 8, 10:56 p.m., Alpha Chi Alpha fraternity: Safety and Security officers and Dartmouth EMS responded to a Good Samaritan call at Alpha Chi. The individual was found to be intoxicated but did not require medical attention. Safety and Security turned the individual over to the care of a friend.

May 1, 11:13 a.m., The Friends of Dartmouth Rowing Boathouse: Safety and Security officers and the Grounds Crew responded to a report of an 8-foot sinkhole near the Boathouse. L&M Construction arrived upon request with an excavator to correct the sinkhole.
