Milky Chance — Down By The River
Jessica Zischke: Milky Chance, a German musical pair consisting of Clemens Rehbein and Philipp Dausch, recently became popular on U.S. airwaves with their single “Stolen Dance.” “Down By The River” borrows the upbeat tone of “Stolen Dance,” but adds in some darker notes in the lyrics as well. It’s all woven into a whimsical tune that makes it perfectly singable, and Rehbein’s raspy vocals balance out what could have been a too-sweet folk song. You’re sure to get the infectious beat stuck in your head.

Sam Feldt & The Him ft. The Donnies The Amys — Drive You Home
Koryn Ternes: 2015 has been a great year so far for Sam Feldt, who has already come out with remixes for Icona Pop and Avicii, plus he’s also released a few originals. Feldt has proven himself once again with "Drive You Home," his collaboration with The Him. California's The Donnies The Amys provide the vocals that complement the melodic piano and brass tones similar to those in most of Feldt's productions.

Like This — Benjy Davis
Chris Leech: Despite my professed dislike of country music, this song came across my Spotify "Discover Weekly" playlist a few weeks ago and I briefly reconsidered my position on the most American of genres. The punchy trombone hook, combined with Davis's fast-paced and upbeat lyrics, makes for a great listen on the last few warm and sunny days we have left this year. The track is the most popular on his self-titled first album — I'm looking forward to hearing more from this up-and-coming artist.
