Dartmouth Soundoff: Stripped-Down Covers
It’s either the most peaceful or the most chaotic part of the term, depending on how you look at it. We’re probably in the least ragey weeks of the calendar year, and when you can actually get facetime it’s in the library on Saturday evenings — and I’m not talking about cutting through Novack. (Well that might be sort of a stretch, depending on who you are.)
Regardless, you’re not exactly loading up your playlist with Dragonette — unless you’re a girl at the gym (but guys can listen to her too!). Anyway, I thought this week might be a good time to post some acoustic covers that you can listen to while you’re studying in the Periodicals like me or trolling Reddit instead of going out.
Now, I know that there are only a bajillion acoustic covers of pretty much every song ever but this week, I’ll just focus on artists who actually have careers independent of doing covers. Enjoy!
