Editors' Note

This morning, Annette, May and Lauren woke up refreshed from a great Monday of classes, like always, and rejuvenated after a healthy Homecoming weekend, like always.

In a shocking departure from the day-to-day grimness of their lives, they strolled into the offices of second floor Robinson Hall with smiles on their faces and joy in their hearts. It is week five, and everyone was excited to challenge themselves by producing this week’s edition of the Mirror while also eagerly preparing for their upcoming midterms.

It’s fitting, then, that the theme of the Mirror this week is “Departures.” The pieces in this issue talk about students departing from Hanover via the Dartmouth Coach and government professors evaluating the current political administration’s departure from norms. In addition, the issue includes an article on Tabard’s Lingerie as an alternative form of expression in the College’s Greek scene, a Q&A with psychology professor Peter Tse and a column on obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Enjoy!
