Alpha Delta fraternity’s appeal following its derecognition last month has been denied, College spokesperson Diana Lawrence wrote in an email.
AD was derecognized as a student organization by the Organizational Adjudication Committee on April 13 and was given until April 20 to appeal the decision. The derecognition was in response to the branding of new members last fall, which violates the College’s standards of conduct. AD was also found responsible of violating the terms of its suspension at the time of the incident.
