For Jen and me, this issue has served as a turning point in our relationship. While we still cling to the fact that we "have so much in common," (see: the last four Mirrors) we've come to realize that I love fashion and Jen doesn't. While I was like a kid in a candy store browsing around Bella, JuliAna and Rosey Jekes for this week's centerfold, Jen was ready to hurl. (Or maybe Jen just raged too much the night before.)
Whatever the case, Jen has perfected the classic prepster look with her crisp, punchy-colored Lacoste polos and boat shoes, while I'm always on the look out for cool leather boots and a bright necklace to pair with a comfy, boyfriend cardigan.
Too often Dartmouth students fall into a fashion slump, slipping into their Hunter rainboots and North Face fleeces when they could be taking greater fashion risks. Hopefully this issue will inspire you to be bolder ... even if it's just with the pop of your neon-colored scarf.
