To the Editor:
In the courtyard leading to the Hinman boxes, there is a plaque listing the names of Dartmouth graduates killed in World War II and the Korean War; it is a long list. Though Dartmouth does not give the day off for Memorial Day, passing the plaque is an opportunity to reflect on the collective magnitude of their individual sacrifices and how thankful we should be to be living in this time of peace.
