The Dartmouth men's squash team finished its team season last weekend, finishing 11th at the NISRA team championships at Princeton University.
The team opened the tournament with an 8-1 loss to Navy, which set up a rematch with Franklin and Marshall, a team Dartmouth beat 5-4 earlier in the season. F&M won 7-2.
"F&M was missing their number two player last time," Jon Gabel '98 said. "It was still kind of disappointing to lose."
Dartmouth faced the University of Rochester in the final match, winning 5-4. Dartmouth got 3-0 wins from Gabel at number three, J.K. Wasson '96 at number five, Zach Segal '98 at number seven and Bill Tarr '98 in the eighth slot.
Rob Hamilton '96 came from one game behind to take the deciding match, winning 3-1 in the ninth slot.
Gabel said the team expects to improve on its 9-9 record next year. "We had a lot of close matches that we were hoping would go our way but didn't, so we're looking really forward to next year," he said.
