To the Editor:
After reading last week's review of Mrs. Ou's Chinese Restaurant in The Dartmouth ("Pu Pu for two at new Mrs. Ou's," Feb.14), I decided to try it out for myself. I found that your description of the new eatery was inaccurate.
My lunch began with a 10 minute wait until the help brought me to one of the six open tables. There were no chips on the table when we finally got there. The water glasses were not filled in a timely fashion nor was our order taken quickly. Mrs. Ou's even neglected the one tradition all Chinese restaurants hold as sacred - there were no fortune cookies to end our meal! Considering that Panda House provides a continuous stream of chips and water, always remembers the fortune cookies and offers a student discount, it is a much better deal than Mrs. Ou's.
