The Big Green women's crew finished second in the petite finals of the Eastern Spirints Championships in New Preston, Conn. yesterday to finish eighth overall. Princeton won the varsity event, along with the second varsity, first freshman and third varsity four races.
The second varsity and the first freshman eights both won the petite finals, earning them seventh place finishes. The third varsity four also finished seventh.
The second freshman eight was the only Dartmouth boat to qualify for the grand finals from the morning heats and grabbed fifth place in the afternoon race.
