Wes Schaub, director of Greek life at Case Western Reserve University, was appointed the College's permanent director of Greek Letter Organizations and Societies, according to a Thursday email sent to Greek officers from acting GLOS Director Kristi Clemens. Schaub will replace Clemens in mid-July, Clemens said in the email.

Schaub, who worked at Case Western in Cleveland for over 22 years, oversaw 24 Greek chapters and interest groups and established two new sororities, according to a letter addressed to students from April Thompson, associate dean of the College for campus life.

At Case Western, Schaub also created the Students Meeting about Risk and Responsibility Training program, which promoted education on alcohol awareness and sexual assault, Thompson said.

Members of the GLOS director search committee — which was chaired by Clemens and Director of Administration Gavin Henning — included students and Greek house advisors, according to the email.

The College has an "offer pending" on the GLOS coordinator position, Clemens said in the email.
