Students suspected to have swine flu have tested negative for H1N1 virus

Three 'suspected' flu cases found negative

Three of the five Dartmouth students with "suspected" cases of swine flu have tested negative for the virus, director of Health Services John Turco said at an information session held for members of the Dartmouth community on Monday. Former candidates to work with SA

Law professor discusses 'civic tech.' in lecture

Wikipedia is always only 45 minutes away from total destruction, Harvard Law professor Jonathan Zittrain said in a lecture held in the Haldeman Center on Monday. In his speech, "Civic Technologies and the Future of the Internet," Zittrain explained that "civic technologies," such as Wikipedia, survive because users identify and fix flaws in the system. Club holds business competition

Five Bamboo, a student-run company marketing clothing made from bamboo, beat out three other teams in the third-annual Big Green Business Plan Competition, hosted by the student-run Club of Dartmouth Entrepreneurs on Monday night. Five Bamboo will now move on to compete for $50,000 in Friday's Dartmouth Entrepreneruial Network Business Plan Competition at the Tuck School of Business. More »
