Sailors knocked out of championship qualifying

The Dartmouth sailing team failed to qualify for the National Championship semifinals at the New England Dinghy Championships this weekend. The Big Green sailors finished 13th against other regional teams, but ultimately the finish would prove too low to advance to the next stage of national competition. The Big Green sailors needed at least a ninth-place finish to advance. While qualification was within the team’s grasp after the first day’s competition, a collapse during the final races took the sailors out of contention. More »

Golf team claims fifth place at New England Championship

This past weekend, the Dartmouth men’s golf team traveled to Providence, R.I., to compete in the New England Division I Men’s Golf Championship. The team finished in the middle of the field of 13 teams, earning fifth-place honors with the solid performances of Davis Mullany ‘10 and captain Jamie Wallace ‘08. More »
