Lee Cooper has the approachability and work ethic that we need in an SA President. I first met Lee during rugby preseason in August. Upon my arrival in Hanover, I was terrified to be surrounded by large upperclassmen. Lee was one of the first people to introduce himself and shake my hand with that big smile he always wears. Lee made me feel at home during that month before matriculation, even inviting me to the copper mines with some of his ‘09 friends. Lee’s genuine approachability is a trait that I want in my president. Lee would be a great asset for attracting new life into the Assembly — particularly the incoming ’12s — and few would hesitate to approach him with new ideas and initiatives. More »
