Hanover police arrested Lean Granger, the wife of Dartmouth professor Richard Granger, last month after an investigation in California, the couple's prior place of residence, found that she had allegedly embezzled over $300,000 from a Southern California church, according to the Newport Beach Police Department. Lean Granger waived extradition and was returned to California last week where she remains in jail. Calls to the church were not returned by press time.

Voting for Student Assembly president and vice president will begin this morning at 9 a.m., with Molly Bode '09 and Lee Cooper '09 on the ballot for president and Nafeesa Remtilla '09, Miesha Smith '09, Tay Stevenson '10 and Chuck Zodda '09 on the ballot for vice president. The online vote is conducted by the Elections Planning and Advisory Committee.

Four candidates for the vacant position of Sexual Assault Awareness Program Coordinator concluded their on-campus interviews Monday with a final presentation to Dartmouth students. The Center for Women and Gender, which initiated the search, hopes that a decision can be reached soon and an offer accepted this summer, according to CWG Director Xenia Markowitt.

Deck, armed with his "typo correction kit" -- which consists of permanent and dry-erase markers, several types of Wite-Out, chalk, pens and crayons -- set off on an odyssey of typographical nit-picking to rectify grammatical injustices about one month ago.

At eight years old, Harmony Gbe '10 needed to translate phone conversations about home equity loans for her French-speaking parents. Gbe, who was born in the Ivory Coast and moved to the United States when she was two years old, shared her experience toeing the line between two cultures as a student panelist at the Pan Asian Council's Community dinner on Monday.
