The Big Green women’s hockey swept Colgate in the first round of the Eastern College Athletic Conference’s postseason hockey tournament with a 4-3 victory on Friday, followed by a 4-2 win on Saturday. More »

Men’s Hockey

The Dartmouth men’s hockey team suffered a lopsided loss at the hands of one of its fiercest rivals, but rebounded to get a win in its last home game, giving the Big Green some momentum heading into the Eastern College Athletic Conference hockey league playoffs. The Big Green wrapped up its regular season on the road, earning a split against Cornell and Colgate. Dartmouth lost big to the Big Red on Friday, 6-0, but came back to earn a 5-2 victory over the Raiders to spoil Colgate’s senior night. More »

Men’s hoops goes 1-1 on weekend as Cornell wins Ivies

This season Dartmouth has seen three different versions of the Big Green men’s basketball team: one that cannot beat anybody, one that can play with anybody but cannot pull out the close win, and one that can beat any conference team at home or on the road. This past weekend saw the latter two Big Green teams in the team’s road loss to Ivy champion Cornell 75-59 and its dominating road win against Columbia, the third best team in the Ivy League, 63-48. Women’s hoops upsets Cornell, stays alive in title hunt

Prior to this weekend, Dartmouth’s women’s basketball team sat in third place, two games back from the Ivy League lead with hopes of an Ivy title quickly fading. But after a 46-44 victory from behind over Cornell on Friday and 59-41 over Columbia on Saturday, coupled with Harvard’s 51-48 win over the Big Red, Dartmouth is now in second place in the conference — only one game behind with two games left in the season.
