To the Editor:

Where are our women? As a proud member of the Greek system and a proud woman of Dartmouth, I am still waiting to hear what the females on the Board of Trustees -- who represent all of the women of Dartmouth -- have to say about the unfair and blatantly inconsiderate decision to allow Beta back on campus.

Sadly there are only three women on the 18-member Board of Trustees, but that means there are three powerful Dartmouth leaders who can step up and advocate for the women of the College on important issues like the one at hand.

I truly hope that all of the Trustees, male and female, are closely monitoring the emotional response from Dartmouth students and alumni who oppose the College's decision to bring back Beta. I understand the pressure to allow the fraternity to return; I'm sure there are plenty of Beta alumni giving big bucks to the college. However, Dartmouth needs to get its priorities straight and put its daughters before its dollars.
