‘Rock Band’ players head bang to top of awesomeness charts
Once upon a time, four talented teenagers from San Francisco were ruminating on their futures in a poorly lit, retro-decaled basement when one of them — the short, antagonistic one, as a matter of fact — had a terribly wonderful idea: in order to communicate their message of youthful summers, anarchy and spellbinding amphibians, the four of them would start a cover band and tour the world. Resolving to take on some of the best songs of the last 50 years, the band “Hypnotoad” was born with nothing to their name but stickered battleaxes, 17 bucks and a desire to rock out. More »
