To the Editor:

Last Saturday, the Rockapellas, the Cords and Soul Scribes performed in front of a packed Spaulding Auditorium for this year's Fall Fling. It's a shame the hard work and talent of more than 35 Dartmouth students was ignored by The D, which chose instead to dedicate Monday's entire arts section to visiting bands and Hollywood movies. Fortunately, there are those in the Dartmouth community who do acknowledge on-campus performing groups. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the more than 900 people who filled Spaulding on Homecoming Saturday, and congratulate all the performers -- especially the Rocks, who hosted the event -- on a fantastic show.
