Column was obscene

To the Editor:
I find it necessary to express my extreme digust, displeasure and disappointment at your choice to print the obscene and borderline-pornographic article "Aurora's Guide to Eating Out" (Oct. 5) I feel that there was no redeeming value to that piece of work, except (perhaps) publication in Playboy or some similar magazine. The Dartmouth has always prided itself on having the highest quality editorial content and I feel that this article was well below the standards of our beloved paper. I am embarrased that this article was ever printed in a publication that parents, alumni, professors and prominent members of the community read on a daily basis.
I sincerely hope you will exercise better editorial judgment in the future. Dartmouth students deserve as much.
