Big Green cyclists enjoy successful summer season

Tomorrow marks the midway point of the Tour de France, which encompasses the most exciting three weeks of the year for professional cycling. The 21 stages (including the prologue) that make up this year’s Tour cover a total distance of 3,550 km and pass through four different countries: the United Kingdom, Belgium, Spain, and France. Throughout the summer term, the Dartmouth cycling squad competes just like the professionals, albeit on a much smaller scale. More »

Kaufman ‘08 brings Lose the Shoes soccer to New York City

On Saturday, July 14, Zak Kaufman ‘08 directed a Lose the Shoes charity soccer tournament in Manhattan’s Riverside Park. The event, which saw 14 three-person teams compete, helped garner an estimated $2,000 for Grassroots Soccer’s campaign to provide HIV/AIDS education to sub-Saharan children. More »
