Prof. Kogan acquitted on shoplifting charge

Portman '78 resigns from govt. post

SAPA Director Prescott to leave Dartmouth

Strange Fruit stands tall on the Green

As the lyrics of Frank Sinatra echoed around the Green, swaying neon-clad figures performed a circus-like dance narrative while standing atop 12-foot poles Thursday afternoon. Strange Fruit, a performing arts company from Australia, gave free performances of their show "Swoon!" as part of the Hopkins Center-sponsored Summer Arts Initiative, which will last until August 18. Police Blotter

June 1, 12:05 p.m., East Wheelock Street Police arrested two underage men for possession of alcohol stemming from an incident that occurred the week before, when the two Dartmouth freshman threw a fire extinguisher through a first floor window of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. They were found by Dartmouth Safety and Security later that evening in Novack Cafe, still intoxicated, which eventually resulted in arrest June 1. More »
