Student documentarians capture the world of Wenda Gu: his art, his city and his project made from Dartmouth hair

The frenzy over Wenda Gu’s “the green house” died down by fall 2006. The project, involving mass collections of more than 430 pounds of hair clippings, stimulated curiosity among many and questions of taste among others. I sat down with Rebecca Treat Ward ‘08 and Jared Westheim ‘08, makers of the documentary, as of yet untitled, chronicling the creation of the hair-art installation, which is to be revealed in Baker-Berry on June 6.
