Wright assures faculty of trustees’ backing

On the heels of a contentious trustee election that ended last week, College President James Wright assured faculty members of the Board of Trustees’ support at the Spring term meeting of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Monday. Over 80 members of the faculty were present at Alumni Hall, where Wright and Dean of the Faculty Carol Folt spoke and two changes to distribution requirement rules were approved. More »

Student policy program earns $300K Ford grant

The Rockefeller Center’s Policy Research Shop has received a $300,000 grant from the Ford Foundation to fund undergraduate research, the College announced Thursday. The policy shop provides a small number of undergraduate students with the opportunity to do in-depth legislative research that is subsequently presented to state legislatures in New Hampshire and Vermont.
