To the Editor:

On behalf of DGALA, the Dartmouth Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Alumni/ae Association, I write to commend Jamal Brown '08, Raymond Rodriguez '09, Dina Warren '10 and Rigel Cable '10 on their tremendous efforts to develop PRIDE 2007. This week of events is a striking symbol of the progress that has been made around GLBTQA issues over the years.

DGALA is pleased to be a top sponsor of PRIDE 2007 and we are excited to see GLBTQA alumni, such as Keith Boykin '87 and Joanne Herman '75, back on campus as featured speakers and other alums as PRIDE participants. With over 700 members around the world, DGALA is committed to enhancing the experiences of GLBTQA individuals at Dartmouth by working with students, faculty, and administration on issues of mutual concern. DGALA is also dedicated to fostering

connections among GLBTQA alumni/ae and regularly hosts regional events and reunions.

PRIDE 2007 is an amazing week of events, which highlights GLBTQA life at Dartmouth through the years, and DGALA salutes the students and alumni/ae who have made it possible.
