Women’s rugby topples Harvard

The Dartmouth women’s rugby club put the cherry on top of its exciting year on Saturday, May 5, dominating Harvard 66-5 in its final game of the season. The game, contested on Dartmouth’s own Brophy Field at the Corey Ford Rugby Clubhouse in Hanover, was a fitting farewell for the graduating seniors. More »

Sailing gears up for nationals with Coast Guard regatta

This past weekend the Dartmouth sailing team traveled to Connecticut to compete in the U.S. Coast Guard Alumni Bowl at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, Conn. With a solid third-place finish in the regatta, the team qualified for nationals in all three divisions of coed fleet racing, women’s fleet racing and coed team. More »

Walking on Eggshells

I drove over 2,000 miles in the last six days. I spent nearly eight hours stumbling through 170,000 mint julep-ed Derbygoers and managed to complete a circuit around the entire infield at Churchill Downs. I saw the Queen of England. I won cash money betting on Street Sense to win. I played pong outdoors and not once did I have to explain myself to an S&S officer. I witnessed 55-year old women sucking face with 22-year old Dartmouth students. I saw the most beautiful girl in Kentucky. More »
