Softball splits must-sweep doubleheader with Harvard

Entering Tuesday’s make-up doubleheader with Harvard in Hanover, the Dartmouth softball team knew it had to sweep to have a shot at the North Division title and earn a spot in the Ivy League championship game against South Division winner the University of Pennsylvania. The Big Green had dropped a close game to the Crimson on Saturday, April 28, in Cambridge, Mass., 2-0, before the remaining games were rescheduled due to rain over the weekend. More »

Men’s lacrosse takes down Holy Cross on the road, 16-10

Tuesday’s too-little-too-late win over Holy Cross is not going to put the Dartmouth men’s lacrosse team into the NCAA tournament, but it certainly breathes life into the future of the Big Green lacrosse program. Dartmouth’s underclassmen took control in a runaway 16-10 win over the Crusaders. Freshmen and sophomores scored 12 goals to snap a six-game losing streak and secure the Big Green’s first win since March 27. More »
