Some time around age 11, my soul underwent a regenesis. I learned that underneath my bed there was a wheeled trundle that was the perfect distance from the television to support my budding habit: an unhealthy obsession with video games. My PlayStation and a black analog controller allowed me to hone hand-eye coordination, embrace dorkdom and develop carpel tunnel with verve.
