The 74th Secretary of the Treasury, Henry M. Paulson Jr. '68, will deliver this year's Commencement address. Paulson, the former chairman and chief executive officer of Goldman Sachs, will also receive an honorary Doctor of Laws degree at the June 10 ceremony.

Dartmouth researchers are working on a project that may allow doctors to better determine whether a tumor is malignant or benign - without having to do a surgical biopsy. Members of the College's Near Infrared Imaging Group published an article earlier this week in the April issue of the Optics Letters journal discussing their research on a new breast cancer diagnosis technique.

A local resident reported to Hanover Police that her credit card information had been used fraudulently on the internet. She said that $7,000 worth of charges had been made over a two-day span. The incident was passed on to the FBI's fraud unit.
