New Hampshire's State Senate passed two student voting bills yesterday, clarifying that out-of-state students have the right to vote in New Hampshire elections. House Bills 132 and 133 passed along party lines, 14 Democrats to 10 Republicans.

The animation students of computer science professor Lorie Loeb may be surprised to find that when she finishes teaching class, she doesn't return home to a typical house equipped with modern appliances. Instead, when Loeb goes home, it's to a "Green Building" - complete with a composting toilet and Energy Star appliances - situated in a sustainable living community where she acts as a beekeeper.
