N.H. voting bills clarify student voting rules

Homeland Security nets College $12 million

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security granted Dartmouth $11.7 million to fund its Cyber Security Collaboration and Information Sharing Project as part of a national counterterrorism effort. The Institute for Information Infrastructure Protection, or I3P, will receive $8.7 million, while the Institute for Security Technology Studies, which represents Dartmouth in the I3P, will receive $3 million. Socy prof probes undergrad attitudes

While peering into their Hinman mailboxes last week, one quarter of students discovered a probing, 14-page questionnaire inviting them to share their political preference, religious perspectives - even their sexual orientation. The questions are all part of sociology professor emeritus Robert Sokol’s upcoming book on the behaviors, attitudes, and perceptions of Dartmouth students. More »
