Palaeopitus pushes students to be well

Walking into Collis Monday afternoon, Dartmouth students were greeted with an unusual sight — members of Palaeopitus senior society offering free hugs. The hug-fest kicked off “Wellness Week,” a five-day series of events that members of Palaeopitus hope will push students to think and talk about health at Dartmouth. More »

High-end shoe vendor hits South Main Street

The shoe store Helium, with its jazz music, geometric motif and softly colored plaster walls, would not look out of place in SoHo or Covent Garden. The shoe store, however, moved to Hanover’s South Main Street last month, next to the Nugget movie theater in a space formerly occupied by an office-supply store.
