SA to create ‘Dartmouth wiki’

Student Assembly quickly responded to an e-mail sent to the entire student body by “The Dartmouth Wiki” — a new website unaffiliated with the college that allows registered users to post and respond to questions — through a follow-up e-mail sent to students on March 30. More »

In trustee race, Wright fights misinformation

For the first time in his tenure as College President, James Wright has spoken out against what he terms inaccuracies in the statements of trustee candidates, given his remarks in a Feb. 28 community letter and the March 14 launch of a website addressing prominent campus issues. Petition candidate Stephen Smith ‘88 alleged that these public relations initiatives represent a specific attack on his campaign. Energy drinks pose risks

Writing a paper with no end in sight at the end of last Winter term, Allen Odeniyi ‘10 turned for aid to a popular campus study buddy: an energy drink. Odeniyi is not the only student to synthetically prolong work hours — as midterms and finals roll around each term, energy drinks become a fixture in libraries, lounges and dorm rooms. More »
