Rising rap artists balance college life with music careers

Dartmouth always welcomes a variety of well-known musicians who visit campus, but many students may not be aware of the rising musical talents within the student body itself. In addition to balancing the Dartmouth plan, extracurricular commitments, athletic activities and the heavy workload prescribed by the College, Simon Trabelsi ‘08 and Johnathan Ball ‘08 spend what free time remains pursuing their careers as up-and-coming musicians. ‘Letters’ lacks depth, but astounds visually

The Second World War rages. Enemy bombers pummel a group of soldiers the audience has come to understand and love. A dramatic orchestral score attempts to convey the drama, the horror and the inevitable outcome of the bloodbath. Soldiers’ faces show a mix of fear and dutiful resolve as they wait, entrenched along the beach. The enemy arrives. Machine guns open fire; many of the attackers are killed. More »
