Women’s hockey clinches Ivy title

Over this past weekend, the No. 3 Dartmouth women’s hockey team reached another milestone before the closure of the regular season. Dartmouth was crowned Ivy League champion on Saturday after amassing a 9-0-1 record in the League. The Big Green’s latest Ivy victories came in a 6-0 blowout against Brown on Friday night and a tense 3-2 overtime win over Yale on Saturday. More »

Men’s tennis travels south, trounces a pair of opponents

The Dartmouth men’s tennis team left the comfort and safety of the Alexis Boss Tennis Center this weekend, traveling to North Carolina to challenge teams from Davidson College on Friday, Feb. 16 and the University North of Carolina-Greensboro on Saturday, Feb. 17. Women’s hoops extends winning streak, downs Brown, Yale

Swimming finishes seventh at Ivy championship meet

While the Dartmouth women’s swimming and diving team was not in contention for the top spot at the Ivy League Championships, contested at Princeton’s DeNunzio Pool, the women ended the season with their best performances of the season. While there were several quality performances by Dartmouth, the depth of the other schools’ teams proved to be too much. The Big Green women finished seventh with a total of 634 points. More »

Men’s basketball nipped by Yale, can’t buy a bucket against Brown

The Dartmouth men’s basketball team endured a tough road trip this weekend against two Ivy opponents. On Friday night, the Big Green lost to Yale 69-64 in New Haven, Conn., in a game in which the Big Green led by as much as ten points. On Saturday, the Big Green turned in its second-worst shooting performance of the season in a 53-33 loss to Brown in Providence, R.I. More »
