Dartmouth French prof arrested for shoplifting

Dartmouth French professor Vivian Kogan was arrested on charges of shoplifting and posted $1,000 bail Friday after loss prevention employees at the Lebanon Food Co-Op accused her of stealing dietary supplements from the store Tuesday. More »

Seven arrested over Carnival weekend

While Safety and Security saw the College’s Good Samaritan policy lead to an increase in calls from concerned students, the Hanover Police noticed a continued decline in Carnival-related arrests compared to recent years. Clinton stumps nearby at Keene High School

KEENE, N.H. — Calling for broad changes to current policy in healthcare, education, energy and taxation, Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., spoke to an audience of several hundred people at Keene High School Sunday as part of her first trip to the state in 11 years. Filings from the Securities Exchange Committee reveal that the Trustees of the College were issued 8,989 worth of shares in Google worth $4.25 million, money resulting from Dartmouth’s investment with Sequoia Capitol, which made a fortune off YouTube’s $1.76 billion sale to Google. More »
