Big Green football shut out at home by Harvard, falls to 1-6

Polocrosse Demo This past Friday the Dartmouth polocrosse team held a demonstration on the Green that featured two polo horses and a bake sale. As a club team, they are one of the first of its kind in the collegiate Northeast, while Duke, the University of North Carolina and Texas have also established programs. More »

Women’s volleyball swept on the road by Ivy League foes

After losing a heartbreaking five-game match to the University of Pennsylvania on Friday night, the Dartmouth women’s volleyball team endured a drubbing from Princeton in two road games over the weekend. After the losses, the Big Green (10-11, 4-7 Ivy) will head into its last home games next weekend looking to break a four-game losing streak. More »

It was not a good week for me. I soiled quite dramatically in both academic and athletic venues, leaving me with my journalism career to fall back on, which is never good for the old self-esteem. In light of my impressive failings, I decided to grab a few minutes with Nick Christman ‘08. A starter on the soccer team for most of the year and an academic hard guy, I thought I’d sit him down and see if I could pick up some life lessons, or at least a laugh or two. More »

Ben True ‘08 captured his second consecutive Heptagonal championship on Friday at Van Cortland Park in New York, becoming the first Dartmouth runner with repeat titles in over 20 years. Despite True’s accomplishment, the day ended in disappointment for the Big Green men. More »
