So, it is that time of the year again. The time to say goodbye, so long, adieu, ciao, ma'asaalama ...

With graduation on the horizon for a quarter of our school's population, I started to think about my own impending launch into the Real World. I came up with some (hopefully) obtainable goals before I don a cap and gown:

  1. Actually attend graduation. That didn't happen in high school. Whoops. There is a story there; feel free to ask sometime.

  2. Finish a crossword in The D. In my 11, everyone else has these crosswords filled with neatly interlocking letters that form words "across" and "down." Mine is always blank. I feel [insert an eight-letter word that indicates lesser or substandard status].

3.That would be it. The future freaks me out.

'09s: Enjoy your next three years.

'08s: Enjoy your next two years.

'07s: Haha, you are next.

'06s: Sucks to be you. I mean, best of luck and everything. Your smiles, energy and talents will be missed.

Answer: inferior
