The Office of the Provost is offering $36,000 for four new GreenPrint terminals to be rolled out by the start of midterm examinations. The installation of the first new station -- to be placed in Gile Hall -- should be completed by the end of Tuesday, according to Operations Manager of Computing Services Mike Hogan.

The Tuck School of Business was ranked as the ninth best business school in America by U.S. News & World Report in its 2007 issue of America's Best Graduate Schools, published Monday. The Tuck School moved down three places from last year.

Duke University's highly-ranked lacrosse team was recently suspended from play while many of the team's members face an ongoing rape investigation.
The police inquiry stems from allegations made by an exotic dancer who says that she was raped, choked and beaten by three members of the lacrosse team during a private party held by team members. The woman said that the incident occurred on March 13 in a university-owned home that is occupied by three of the team's four captains.

Recent movements urging consumers to reduce the country's dependence on oil by using an ethanol-gasoline combination to power their vehicles may be strengthened by a new process invented at Dartmouth. In response to the high costs of producing ethanol, which is made from corn and other grain products, current Thayer professor Lee Lynd and former Thayer researcher Y.H Percival Zhang have developed a new, cost-effective ethanol pretreatment process that could eventually help the United States break its dependence on foreign oil.
