The Dartmouth men’s tennis team closed out a long but successful day on Saturday when the host Big Green defeated a tenacious Stony Brook squad 7-0 before handling the University of Connecticut 7-0 in the late match. The doubleheader sweep closed out an impressive 6-1 winter season, which included a lone loss to ACC power No. 25 Clemson and a perfect 5-0 mark at the Alexis Boss Tennis Center.

Fresh off a two game win streak, Dartmouth (5-20, 3-9 Ivy) entered its final road trip of the season with newfound momentum. Playing some of its best basketball of the year, Dartmouth nearly came off with the victory over Princeton (9-14, 7-3 Ivy) but ran out of steam against league-leading Penn Quakers (18-7, 10-1 Ivy).

This weekend Middlebury hosted the Eastern Intercollegiate Skiing Association (EISA) Championships. In the last carnival of the year, the Dartmouth ski team put forth a valiant effort, winning both the men’s and women’s Nordic races that were relocated to Craftsbury Outdoor Center in Vermont due to lack of snow.

The Dartmouth women’s swimming and diving team wrapped up its season at the Ivy League Championship event with record-setting individual performances. In team competition, the squad matched its regular-season standing, as the Big Green placed seventh out of the Ancient Eight.

The Dartmouth women’s hockey team finished up its regular season with a weekend road trip to New York to take on a couple of the country’s best. The team found itself the sixth seed for the ECAC league tournament after the dust settled on Saturday.

Dartmouth’s most successful senior class went out with a bang this weekend as the Big Green clinched the ECACHL regular season title, sweeping Clarkson and St. Lawrence at Thompson Arena to win a share of its first ECACHL championship.
