BURN BABY: Lucas Schulz ‘08 begins construction on the Winter Carnival snow sculpture with temperatures nearing 50 degrees. Unusually warm weather continued to present a dilemma for snow sculpture volunteers.

Despite notching the 1,000th point of her NCAA career, Angie Soriaga ‘06 could not keep the N.C. State Wolfpack from thumping the Dartmouth women’s basketball team 78-43 Sunday afternoon at Reynolds Coliseum.

With the help of Dartmouth students and Upper Valley residents, the Special Olympics were held at the Dartmouth Skiway on Saturday afternoon.

The No. 3 doubles pairing of Maggie Suydam ‘08 and Kerry Snow ‘07 slammed the opposition 8-5 as Dartmouth swept Friday night’s doubles matches en route to a 4-3 home victory over Army.

The women’s squash team cruised to a 9-0 win over Amherst Wednesday.
