Liberal Bias Regurgitated

To the Editor:

Sara del Nido's column ("Abramoff the Insider," Jan. 5) is a typical liberal line of trash. It is just a copy of what the liberal major dailies are writing. True, Abramoff "fleeced" a large number of Indian tribes, he has pleaded guilty to that. He also gave almost as much money to the Democrats in Congress, but the only mention of Democrats in the op-ed is at their concern about an air of corruption. Is it any wonder that the nation has grown to distrust the major daily papers and that their readership is continuing to decline?

Please, at an important liberal arts college, try to write a balanced column. The students deserve that much.
